    Jennifer Hughes rejoined the FT in 2022 as US markets editor after five years with Reuters and its commentary arm, Breakingviews. Prior to that, her 18-year FT career included covering capital markets, banks, finance, regulation plus writing the Lex column during stints in New York, London and most recently, Hong Kong.
